This thread is just to spread some holiday cheer with some pleasant memories and remind those that may have forgotten (or just never realized) that we have had many great moments against Dallas

1992: Danny Copeland jumps on a Troy Aikman fumble near the end of the game in the end zone to give the Skins a 17-10 lead in what proved to be Gibbs 1.0's final game against Dallas. This after the team was trailing 20-10 going into the fourth.

1991: Chip Lohmiller buries four field goals of over 45 yards each to give the Skins a 33-31 victory over the Boys on MNF. Washington rallied from a 21-10 deficit

1990: Darrell Green intercepts a Troy Aikman pass in the 4th quarter and runs it back for a TD in Washington's 19-15 win

1989: Using a control-the-clock offense the Redskins roll to a 30-7 win.

1988: Three takeaways in the second quarter leads to 21 points as the Redskins march on to a 35-17 victory

1987: While the Cowboys had a several key players back on their team, the Redskins fielded all scabs and went home with a 13-7 Monday night victory. The replacement players were gone after this game, but taking these guys to a 3-0 record is one of Gibbs' most underappreciated accomplishments

1987: Washington holds on for a 24-20 victory after leading 24-3

1986: Redskins recorded 5 sacks and rack up nearly 500 yards of offense in a 41-14 shellacking of Dallas

1984: First play of the second half, Joe Theismann unloads an 80-yard TD bomb to Calvin Muhammad. Riggo takes care of the rest as the Skins cruise to a 34-14 win

1984: Trailing 21-6 going into the second half, Darrell Green turns the game around with a INT return for a TD. Washington goes on to win 30-28

1983: The Skins dressed in army fatigues as if ready to go to war when they boarded the plane for Dallas. Washington wins the war, 31-10

1983 (NFC Championship Game): This game arguably marked the arrival of Joe Gibbs as a legit head coach. With RFK rocking Dexter Manley tips a Gary Hogeboom pass that Darryl Grant picks off and high steps into the end zone and onto Pasadena where the Skins would win their first of three (for now) Super Bowls under Gibbs

The game in 1992 my father was at the game sitting in the owners box of Jerry Jones. My father a diehard skins fan could only sit and watch as RFK went wild. He was invited to go with my neighbor whos daughter went to college with jerrys daughter. He was sitting next to supreme court justice Clarence Thomas. During half time he asked Clarence how he could live and work in dc and be a cowboys fan. Clarence re plied by saying(if you were treated the way I was in DC you would be a Cowboys fan too)remember Annetta Hill deal. He did get a pic with clarence and Jerry at half time and you can see the band in the back ground.
