This would be a lot of money for what typically a nose tackle does (plug holes and not play every single snap). Unless we're playing a Wade Phillip type of the 3-4 with an attacking NT.

I love how our fanbase on the internet knows so much more about the team than Bruce Allen and Mike Shanahan.

But I don't necessarily think he's an improvement on Bryant unless you're following the money trail.

I mean, Cofield is going to have to get his snaps. He's a young, talented football player with a good bill of health. So if he has to line up at nose to play in our defense, that's probably a good thing.

There's no question it will be the toughest assignment of his career. Bryant is still the proven commodity, at least until Cofield starts to dominate his old team on Sept 11.

And I thought bolstering the D-line would make people happy.

I can't wait to see the joy when we start signing some O-lineman.

Good way to put it. Those are teams that draft well on the d-lines.

We'll get calls for Chris Samuels to come back from retirement and to bring Rabach back. LOL.

Though if we had played an attacking defense, Haynesworth could have been an every down player. We're still going to two-gap it.
