Not that I want him back... but given that he was an undrafted free agent, I'd say he had an OK career here.
I would actually prefer to keep him here -- he's not very high priced, provides decent depth, knows and is known by the other players...why get rid of him unless he wants a new contract?

Since he is a free agent, it is not that he WANTS a new contract - - he MUST HAVE a new contract.

Hope they give Crowder a look... would much rather have him than Lofa.
Crowder has done nothing. He has 2.5 sacks in six years. He's terrible and a cancer in the locker room. He's a Joey Porter wannabe with half the mouth and none of the talent. Unless we want more frustration, we don't want Crowder here.

He's a middle linebacker... why would you expect high sack numbers? He's a run stuffer.

Channing Crowder should go to New England. His name always sounds like some horrible butchering of clam chowder.

Redskins retain Buchanon.
Phillip Buchanon - Washington Redskins - 2011 Player Profile - Rotoworld.com (http://www.rotoworld.com/player/nfl/777/phillip-buchanon)
He was pretty good for us last year. Let's hope he maintains his form.

He wasn't bad when he played guard for a spell.
I was thinking the same thing. He was VERY suprising at guard, sucks as a tackle but when he went in as a guard he seemd to be a little more effective. Not stellar, but effective.

So if we are not gonna make a play for Orton, Bulger, etc. then we seriously need to get Rex into camp. Anybody know the hold up?

Tatupu would be a great addition! Knee surgeries were minor; and I'd feel way more comfortable starting him at ILB than Riley, Henson or Alexander.
Hayden would be a nice move, but nothing more than a 1-2 yr deal. Very underrated, and would arguably be the best CB we'd have.
CB's (If Hayden signs)
1. Hayden
2. Hall
3. Wilson
4. Buchannon
5. Barnes
It's a crowded group, but IMO Hayden, would be the best true Cover CB we'd have.
