Lions CB Alphonso Smith broke his foot.
There's an opportunity for Carlos Rogers.
Detroit should have been signing Los anyway. They are a good corner or two away from a fine defense. But, yes, I imagine Rogers' salary demands just got more palatable to the Lions' brass.

I think people should remember that the salary floor was going to drive up the prices of free agents. Although we haven't overpaid for anyone the way Vinny used to.

There's a lot of talent left on the market to be acquired (especially for depth) Some teams are taking it slow waiting for prices to drop.

Or, waiting to see who else is cut. There will be more players available in the next few days...probably a lot more Cowboys too. :D

Cullen - comes back to us for a cheaper contract after seeing no one is going to break the bank for him.
James Jones- There is still no #1 reciever and need the talent
Rudd-28 going into his prime and we be a great compliment to Fletcher
Blalock is a beast and we change the look of the o-line for a long time.

The page you were looking for is not here.
Clearly, this is because you have damaged the inter-net.
At great expense, we have placed the broken pieces in an archive (http://www.theonion.com/issue/) so that you can mend the damage you caused.
Ha, the URL was censored. :spank:
Open it up and replace the stars in the URL with the missing word.

Wow, Atlanta just got Ray Edwards for less than we paid Stephen Bowen. That's really good work by Thomas Dimitroff.

I wanted to answer the question: what has our money gotten us so far? We've spent more than $50 million in free agency.
I went to my FA Spreadsheet and to the 79 scale to see what kind of quality we've brought back. These rankings were made before FA opened (with the exception of players acquired in trades, like Gaffney), and do not consider our scheme. Just the quality of player. Basically, no pro or anti Redskins bias here.
Barry Cofield 89
Josh Wilson 85
Stephen Bowen 83
Santana Moss 83
Chris Chester 79
Jabar Gaffney 79
Sav Rocca 79
Donte Stallworth 77
Kellen Clemens 75
Our $50 million brought us one potential star (who doesn't have an obvious place in our scheme), a young above average corner, two average players in Bowen and Moss, three guys who are fringy starters, but may be so according to need, and some depth in Stallworth and Clemens.
Is that worth $50 million? In 2009, Vinny got one potential star and a young, average corner for that much money. It's not that dissimilar to what we have here, except in that we have more holes now. In 2004, we seemingly did a lot better than this with less cap room: Springs, Washington, Brunell, Griffin, Ray Brown, Portis, etc. That FA class put a core of talent in place for the next five years. I don't know if this one will do the same.

The hate emanating from many Baltimore fans for the Skins always amazes me. I remember lying in a hospital bed the day after major surgery doped to the gills, watching a Skins game and having the male nurse tell me what bad team they were, how I was dumb to root for them and live in Baltimore, and how all Baltimore hated them (I was cognizant enough to nonchalantly reply in my normal fashion - "Really, we Skins fans really just don't care about Ravens. I hope they do well").
i told this story before after it happened, a few years ago a guy pulled a knife out and put it on the bar b/c my lady and i were wearing skins gear one sunday. (we are both regs at this bar so i wasnt worried, no direct threat just drunk idiot stuff)
but there is a good bit of skins fans in baltimore. personally i enjoy wearing my skins gear on sunday. shit i used to set up one of those big air pressured football guys for a bar in lil italy with purple ravens camo paint on their exterior . . . in all skins gear.
