Jason Campbell for Vince Young ? Who would you rather have?
I have been a support of JC since he has been here but today I come to realize that JC is not suited for the WC offense. If we let JC walk at the end of the year who do we have as our starter? I think the Titans would be willing to let Vince Young go for the right compensation so would you rather make a deal for Young or Keep Jason Campbell ( Soup to some of you)?
Do we spend a 1st round pick on a collage QB? How long will he sit or start right away. No matter who coaches we will need a QB next year.
I think Young needs a new start and I like his athletic ability. I MADE THIS POST ON 11-21-2010 . LOOK at our QB situation now, no Jason Campbell or McNasty. We gave up a 2nd, 3rd, and 4th for rd pick for McNasty. I think we have nothing to lose by bringing in Vince Young for a chance to compete for a QB job. all he does is win.

Why haven't we resigned him yet? I'm kind of surprised.

Not much of a rush really. I don't believe he could even suit up and practice before the 4th. But, I hear he may actually sign tonight or tomorrow. Either way, he'll be back. I'm not worried

So what is the word on Kyle Orton? Now that Miami is seemingly out of that race, or so it is being reported, where does he end up? Would the Skins take a chance on him or is Denver just asking too much for him?

It's not that Denver is looking for too much, it's Orton that wants a lot of guaranteed money from Miami, and the Dolphins don't seem quite ready to guarantee he will be QB1.

Don't worry:

With McNabb gone, Kyle Shanahan eager for QB competition - Washington Times (http://www.washingtontimes.com/blog/redskins-watch/2011/jul/29/mcnabb-gone-kyle-shanahan-eager-qb-competition/)

Kyle Shanahan versus Donovan McNabb is sooooo 2010. Shanahan's smile said it all Friday morning at the Redskins' first full training camp practice. With McNabb on his way to Minnesota in a trade, Shanahan was eager to begin the quarterback competition between John Beck and Rex Grossman.

"I think it will be a great battle," Shanahan, the Redskins' offensive coordinator, said after practice. "I think that they’re both capable of it. Rex showed that he’s capable last year. John has shown that he’s capable in practice and what he’s done in his college tape and the few opportunities he has had in the NFL. I’m excited for them to finally get a shot together."

Beck begins with a major advantage because, well, he's actually at Redskins Park practicing with the team. Grossman, meanwhile, is still a free agent. And even if Grossman re-signs--which Shanahan said he expects--new league rules prohibit him from practicing with the team on the field until Thursday, Aug. 4.

For now, Shanahan will focus on evaluating Beck. The Redskins traded for him last August, leaving him little time to learn the playbook. He then spent the season as the No. 3 quarterback and exclusively ran scout team plays in practice in all but the final two weeks of the regular season.

Should be interesting to see how it plays out. I don't understand the rule that prohibits Grossman from practicing until 4 August. Especially with this shortened offseason - doesn't seem to make much sense.

The Aug. 4th date is based on the union reforming and the new CBA being complete and approved by the players. It is a protection of sorts for the owners that makes sure that the union keeps it part of the bargain and gets all the players on board so that nothing goes haywire
