Lions win the Div.
Or at least devour Rodgers and Cutler in the process. McNabb isn't tasty enough, so they'll leave him to the vultures.

The Vikes have a better offensive line than we've had for the past two/three seasons, and a running game that is much better the Eagles have ever had. A QB like McNabb was meant to go to a team with a lot of things in place, not a rebuilding team like ours. I don't think they'll be a playoff team b/c of the competition within the division, but there's a possibility that he might do better.Vikes OL has fallen down quite a bit. Old Man Fav-rah was quite broken playing behind such a "good" OL.

I found this interesting.

The (roughly) 14-hour holdup was contract parameters; McNabb needed to rework his deal and get rid of the $10 million option bonus the Redskins owed him per last November's phony extension. McNabb figures to open camp as the favorite to start for the Vikings, but the team won't wait around if the 34-year-old struggles early. Minnesota's scouting department determined before the draft that Christian Ponder was NFL-ready. It's probably a safe bet that both will start games this year, be it due to ineffectiveness or injury behind an aging offensive line that struggles in pass protection. This is a situation to avoid in fantasy football.
I'd love to see McNugget benched for a rookie....lolol

Fletcher Smith has that pen ready to attack Ponder, Webb, and whoever stands in the way of the almighty McTrash.

We'll be getting 2 6th rounders for him. It's better than us just releasing him, which is exactly what we would be doing if nobody wanted him. The deal was made and it didn't work out. We were fortunate we got what we did back from him. Nobody was going to give up anything valuable for McNabb.
I'd rather see him traded for a conditional 5th rounder as supposed two 6ths. It's not like this team is able to find diamonds in the rough later in the draft.

Well, you can't get what isn't available. If they weren't willing to give a 5th (I'm under the impression we asked for a 5th and 7th) then you have to take what you can get.

Favre had the mobility of an oak tree and was completely worn down, so that was a different situation.

I understand one of the 6th rounders is conditional. Let's hope he will meet whatever the requirement is for the compensation to be two.

Is there any word on how high that 2013 pick could become.
