I'm proud of the way Redskins' defense played tonight. But, I think we should have continued to put pressure on Vinny instead of playing prevent defense.

They also were NOT playing a prevent in fact they had 2 sacks on that series that forced Dallas into a 4th down situation which they made. They were playing a 2 deep cover zone. The corner (Spriggs) released his guy and was expecting Sean Taylor to take hm on. Vinny faked Taylor out for a moment and it allowed him to get open. Nice pass to also helped. Greg Williams will never play a prevent defense while on the other side of the ball Coach Gibbs plays a prevent offense, which you know what that means.

The clock always seems to tick off a few seconds when a timeout is called, it's just not yesterday. That's something that's always pissed me off.

Yeah I was thinking we MIGHT have had enough time to have thrown a quick out for at least a few more yards. After all, even though the field goal was short, just a few more yards would have made a huge difference!

eh...after the cowboys got accross midfield the redskins stopped blitzing, they were only rushing the front 4 and dropping everyone else into coverage, that is something that they didn't do all day, they should have stuck with the aggressive defense, it was killing vinny-t all day, but they knew the cowboys couldn't settle for 3 so they were trying to stop the big score, sean taylor was just worried about keyshawn on the post...would anyone out there have been worried about the reciever that scored????
