between that, players cut before lockout, and those soon to be.. what, 35 percent of the league will be waiting for contracts?

I have a court hearing tomorrow @10:00 and won't be back in the office until after 1:00. I expect the "New Messages" line on the Warpath's first page to be somewhre around 200 by then.

I kind of miss the Midnight start to free agency. 10am's kind of tough.

Yeah what's the story behind the 10a start? Give teams a lil more time after these owner meetings, etc or give the league time to rest before posting transactions? I bet the phones are already lit up though
