I'd rather play the trump card - Vince Young

I'll take Rex first.

I'll take Rex first.

I'd be fine with that.

Beck is my choice use the money to fill other holes and draft a qb next year. There is very few QBs that turn a franchise around coming off free agency. I mean thats why they had to move they weren't good enough.

I'd take Jackson over Beck.

Some choice! It's like Redskins fans being able to choose the method of our own executions. Either way we're doomed.

I have a question: What about Joe Joe Joseph NT out of THE U (he was signed last season and quickly picked up a DUI). What if we rotate Joseph, Bryant & sign Kris Jenkins in rotation and Neild goes to PS.

In regards to Beck, I'd like to wait until the lockout is over and for free agency to start before completely buy in with the whole idea of him as a starter for this team. That being said, Shanahan is the offensive genius and if he is indeed sold on Beck then I guess we have to give him the benefit of the doubt.

Beck reminds me more of the Jeff Garcia type guy, who was kind of old when he broke out as a star. Jeff was 29 or 30 i believe. Isn't Beck 30 or 31? I dont think his age is that big of a deal because its not like he has been getting hit. Beck i think can be good because he showed promise but got the raw deal in Miami.

I dont know how much of a genius Shanahan is. He is a great coach, no doubt, but his image tarnished a little to me because i think if he would have had the balls to pull McNabb earlier in the season when it was clear he was shot, perhaps Rex could have had an 8-8 or 9-7 season, possibly even better.

That being said, I dont really blame Shanahan because i guess he had to absolutley be sure that Donovan was not gonna work here, and i guess it took him a long time to realize that.

I'd say he realized Donovan wasn't going to be the answer by the week of the Lions game, which was allegedly when the whole "he doesn't want to wear a wristband thing" happened. They signed him to that big contract to try and motivate him, but kept the out clause unless McNabb didn't perform better.

Mike's got a pretty good track record with quarterbacks. He's coached two Hall of Famers (Steve Young and John Elway) and has made playoff runs with less than spectacular guys. I trust him to identify talent in that case,

The smartest thing the Redskins can do is trade McNabb and Haynesworth for Young and a 5th rounder at the opening of the league year.

Beck sounds great in storyland, but you should back him up with a winner.

In a single play in that Lions game, we ALSO realized that Grossman is not the answer either.
