Yes they also mentioned Holmes, it was around 1230.. Don't know who said it though but again it was just talk.. If u had to guess SS, what WR do u see in WSH? Holmes, Edwards or Rice? Or none

If I had to guess, I'd say Edwards.

I also think Breaston might be a sleeper choice for us, but probably only if we lose Santana

OK just to keep update and so some of ytou can get a good laugh

Dallas reported that

Leonard Davis, Marion Barber, Roy Williams and kicker Kris Brown are going to be released

That Roy Williams trade/contract was one of the biggest failures in Cowboys history. A Haynesworthian disaster if you will.

I hope not. Otherwise I'm just missing something. A few good games over the years...can find his way to sports center...but not the type of consistency I would want in a starting WR. Much rather Rice as a #1. Moss FINALLY in the slot after wanting him there for a decade but not having enough talent around him. And let Hankerson and Armstrong battle for number 2 spot. As much as Id like to root for my Cane right away it always takes receivers a few years...speaking of which...maybe Kelly will show up! and not get hurt...

Worse than Haynesworth because of the lost draft picks.

I hope Jerry has another Roy Williams trade up his sleeve.

Really not a huge fan of all our WR interest. Would really like to hear about us in the mix for a couple O-linemen and a couple D-Linemen.

Cant believe Mike Brown wouldnt take Haynesworth for Carson straight up...that would be good news.

Edwards, Holmes, and Rice all have big question marks in my opinion. I think Edwards perhaps has the fewest, but I wouldn't really want any of them over what we have.

Agreed but I think it was worse becuase it cost dallas a lot of money but also high draft picks.
Heynesworth cost 3 times the money limit the chance for you gusy to persuade FA but didn't cost u draft picks.

I feel the same way. I don't mind them going after Yanda or C. Jenkins, but I think we need to groom what we have here.

can any team say we have this guy signed today? Don't they have to wait until 6 on Friday? I know they can negotiate but no one can really say where they are going until Friday, correct?

All they can do is agree to terms, but nothing is finalized till Friday. Which is the point I brought up about some team coming by and scooping them up during that time period and come Friday they sign with somebody else.
