I'm just tired of the circus, as I'm sure many in Redskins Park are too as well. We've got more important things to worry about. Get him outta here and let's move on.

But that's an emotional reaction, we're all fatigued by his bullshit. But we shouldn't let the emotion get the best of us; after all his feelings about the 3-4 are what's driving this whole thing anyway.

Feelings change over time. I remain convinced he'll come around.

Honestly, I feel that even if AH had a good attitude about the 3-4, playing him in this system it'd be a waste.

I must say that you give him a lot of credit if you feel like he'll come around. Unfortunately I don't and if he stays it'll be a circus all over again.

Well, he's going to need to have a massive attitude/effort overhaul, and win over a locker room full of players and coaches who not only don't respect him, but have been openly critical of him in the media.

Agreed. The guy has shown over and over again both on the field and off that he has no desire whatsoever to be a good man or a good football player. He's got his money. What's going to motivate him?

More money.

You act like he's not spending that giant wad of cash and instead pulling a Carson Palmer or Robert Smith and saving for retirement. With a yacht like his, you know he's blowing through that money.

I'm not giving him any credit as a person. I think the only thing that's going to motivate the guy is cold hard cash.

One of these days he's going to have to play in a dominant fashion if he wants another contract. And he will have to do it for more than just one full season in order to convince people he deserves a big payday. You know his agent is telling him that.

It's just a matter of whether we force him to do it with us, or allow him to do it with someone else.

Meh, he's already 30. He had his big payday. Even if he goes balls out the next 2 years, nobody is going to give an aging DT with major attitude problems another monster contract.

Players like Haynesworth are too well protected by the rules that have been put in place through union representation and CBA's. I well remember a time when he would not be able to play another down for any team in the league. The only contract he would see would be the one taken out on him.

The guy has no heart or passion for the game, I wouldn't be surprised if he's out of football completely sooner rather than later.

But Haynesworth won't think that way. If anything, as he ages he'll realize he has only one more chance to cash in and it's getting to the midnight hour, and his attitude will change.

And you need look no further than Michael Vick to see that teams are willing to take a shot on a questionable player. He's out of football, you don't know whether he'll still have any athleticism, the Eagles take a chance with a $5 million deal and boom, instant franchise QB.

If Haynesworth continues to act like a bum, he'll still get a couple mill from somebody just on the off chance he might dominate. But if he actually dominates for us in the closing years of his deal? Someone will pay him a big chunk of change, guaranteed.
