Plaxico Burress won't be NFL's next Michael Vick - Don Banks - SI.com (http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2011/writers/don_banks/06/07/Burress/index.html)
Plaxico out of jail; on the radar of two teams according to RosenhausMTK 06-08-2011, 12:00 PM Plaxico Burress won't be NFL's next Michael Vick - Don Banks - SI.com (http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2011/writers/don_banks/06/07/Burress/index.html) Monkeydad 06-08-2011, 12:56 PM Do we even need any more WR's? No. Unless we're keeping 8 we do not need to add any more to the potential roster. If we re-sign Moss, we're set not only for this year, but looking great for the future if a couple of the draft picks can work out for us. My picks for making the team: S. Moss A. Armstrong L. Hankerson T. Austin B. Banks N. Paul or A. Robinson with the other one going to PS Not on roster Opening Day: M. Kelly T. Johnson R. Williams M. Price freddyg12 06-08-2011, 02:03 PM I like it that there's some competition at WR & Kelly is such an x factor. I don't think Plax is at all right for this team. SirClintonPortis 06-09-2011, 01:53 AM After the trend in the draft picks this season, questionable guys like Plaxico are a longshot to coming here. Plus, we have a ton of guys already trying to compete for a spot at WR. hooskins 06-09-2011, 01:58 AM Good football topics have been tough sledding lately. So I guess here's something to talk about: We all know Burress got out of prison yesterday. So according to Drew Rosenhaus, two teams have stayed in contact with him about Plaxico's availability once he was released. I know Vick wants him and he'd make sense for the Eagles.... So what about the Redskins? Well, John Clayton was just on NFL Live, and his top 4 as far as likelihood to sign Burress were: 1) Eagles 2) Redskins 3) Rams 4) Jets. Interesting. Are the Redskins one of the two teams supposedly interested? Do you think we should sign Plax? I think we are in fact one of the two teams, but I'm not so sure about signing him. Plaxico Burress on radar for 2 teams, agent Drew Rosenhaus says - ESPN (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=5859464&campaign=rss&source=NFLHeadlines) Ok I haven't been paying attention to details but why the Eagles? They have two solid WRs. Am I missing something. SmootSmack 06-09-2011, 02:00 AM Ok I haven't been paying attention to details but why the Eagles? They have two solid WRs. Am I missing something. Big redzone threat, several Eagles have publicly and not as publicly voiced support for him. And he would stay in the NFC East, which I really don't know how much that matters to Plax Giantone 06-09-2011, 03:42 AM IMHO.....I think it's a team in Fla...any team,it's home and he won't need to register his new gun in 2 states. Dirtbag59 06-09-2011, 03:44 AM If we're going to break the bank we'd be better off doing it with Jenkins, Franklin, and Joesph. And it seems that only two of them are going to be available. freddyg12 06-09-2011, 09:19 AM If we're going to break the bank we'd be better off doing it with Jenkins, Franklin, and Joesph.
