Yeah the whole Obama's playing politics and pandering excuse is weak as hell. Even if it's true, he didn't just jump up last weak and starting talking about the DREAM Act. He's been pounding the drum for a solid two years now.

Truth is Romney and the Repubs could have done their part to shape legislation. They've squandered a huge opportunity to garner their share. Good for Obama, good for Dems, and good for the country.

If Obama really cared about the immigration issue and wasn't using this as election year leverage (his order expires in two years), why not let Rubio, who can bridge the gap between anti-immigration conservatives and the Hispanic community make this work with long term policy/law. He could sign it into law and still take credit.

This will turn out to be another miscalculation by Obama as there won't be a bump in the Latino vote percentages because of this in Nov. They'll stay where they are and I expect Romney will actuall close the gap in the Latino vote by Nov.

If you really cared about the truth you would know Obama did exactly that back in December 2010 and the bill died when it was filibuster by senate Republicans.

Rubio may not have been there for the vote but it's hard to imagine the result would be any different this time around given that a) there are more Republican senators, b) it was 5 votes short last time time and c) there has been plenty of time since then to introduce another bill and put it to a vote. The GOP is all cattle and no hat when it comes to the Dream Act and since all it takes to kill anything is 41 Republican senators it highly unlikely that Rubio is going to make a dent.

It is time for those Republican Senators and the GOP stop whining, man-up and eat their dog food.

So Mitt's not sure when he worked for Bain Capital, huh? Won't release his taxes.

He's in a serious pickle.
