I love how no one has mentioned that of the two years of income in question, Romney gave away 17+% of it ($7M) to charitable causes.

The GOP sucks so bad that even dictators realize what a mess they are.

The GOP being a shitshow doesn't equate to the Dems being the opposite. Both are rotten apples in their own ways.

Oh definitely. I agree 100%. If you would start the Dem thread, I'll be glad to dole out some smackdown. I'm not partial when it come to chastising crooks. :)

Which is tax deductible? Didn't 4 mil of that go to his church? He does that out of beliefs.

Pretty sure it's tax deductible. I think $3-$4M went to the Church of LDS. And the rest was spread out.

Also, his tax rate is lower because a big chunk of his income came from a private equity firm that he co-founded. Basically none of his income comes from wages. It's all investments, interest, and dividends. So he's not paying any payroll taxes- medicare, SS, etc.

He's not breaking any tax laws. Granted, these laws should be changed so this kind of income gets taxed more reasonably, but he shouldn't be villified for his success on the up-and-up in a tax system that he didn't put in place.

Yeah. No one mentions Romney giving away 17% of his $41M. Interestingly, it's been completely glossed over that Obama only gave away a whopping 1% of his earnings in that same time frame.

Craig James: The Most Hated Man In West Texas | ThePostGame (http://www.thepostgame.com/commentary/201201/craig-james-most-hated-man-west-texas)

Couldn't have happened to a better douche bag.

Not so much. Public Policy Polling just came out of the field with news that only 2 percent of Texas Republicans will vote for him for U.S. Senate. It's early yet, but if Republican political consultant Brian Mayes is correct, 2 percent is about where we should expect him to end up. In the interests of disclosure, I'm working for one of the Democrats in the race, and we aren't concerned with James in the slightest.

What did this asshole expect?...lol
