I don't often agree with 12thMan...but when I do it's becaus of posts like these.

I didn't know you didn't agree with me. Is it my politics or that I predicted Ryan Torain was going to be the starting running back on opening day:)

Actually that's a good question for Ralph Nadar. Where does Nadar stand on matters of national security and protecting our borders? What's his position on immigration, 2nd amendment rights, a woman's right to choose? How about the three trade agreements that the president just signed into law that will create thousands of jobs? Go to his website, you'd think you were redirected to Amazon.com book of the month club.

Look, Nadar has done some good things but his time has past. He's an old crank, hungry for attention and influence.

If he was really serious about changing the system, why not run for Congress or Senate? Elizabeth Warren is serious about Wall Street corruption and protecting consumers from unscrupulous practices by banks and mortgage lender. So you know what she did, ran for Senate. Why must Nadar run for President -- all the time? How about a state seat? I'm suspicious of his motives especially for someone who's not versed on a wide range of issues facing our country.

He's just not credible.

OK yopu had me going until you said this. Lets not counts those jobs until they are actually on the job working. Last time Obama started counting jobs it was in districts that did not exsist.LOL

Hey, 12th have a good weekedn and maybe Monday we can be discussing the Redskins upset victory of the week.

I've got nothing.

Seriously though, I can't disagree with anything you said. Maybe he should start out at the smaller level. Now why couldn't any of the notable right wingers put that type of argument instead of pointing to some stock he owns as a good reason?

If major corporations thought Ralph Nader was a credible candidate that started to get traction in the polls, he'd get some sponsorship. The big boys know how to tune out the campaign rhetoric and talk business.

This is where I disagree with you 100%. The only way he'd get "corporate" sponsorship is if he was willing to play ball like the rest of the guys taking handouts. Legislation is bought and paid for on a daily basis by lobbyists. They don't give out 100's of thousands of dollars without expecting favors back. Look at that Ponzi scheme thread to see how the "pay to play" thing works. If he's into putting restrictions and regulations on corporations, you can best believe they wouldn't be dontating to his cause. Would you?...lol

Where there is smoke there is fire and it looks like the latest Cain accuser just lit his ass on fire. She is hot white republican thing... What self-respecting republican wouldn't want to put his hands between her thighs?

This shit won't amount to a hill of Georgia beans. I bet Cain continues to raise a shit load of money and won't be able to find Georgia or Georgia on the map.

Nader's actions were hypocritical. Your denial of such is either stupid or obtuse. The relevance of his hypocrisy is dependent upon a variety of factors in turn dependent upon each individual's priorities. Your attempt to waive off as his hypocrisy as a smear tactic or a non-consideration is intellectual arrogance. Finally, your attempt to subtley change the topic while admitting no error was simply a matter of intellectual dishonesty. All of it is, unfortunately, consistent with your posts in the political forums.Great post JoeR, hit the nail dead-on for sure.

Also, I would say back in 2000 or 2001, Cisco wasn't the giant that it is today. Nortel and other companies were heavily involved in the technology industry as well.Incorrect. In 2000 Cisco was the most valuable company in the world with a market cap of $ 500B, in 2009 its market cap was $ 108B.

Unfortunately for Nortel, their main technology (legacy phone systems) has all but died out and VoIP is rapidly replacing it.Still a great deal of TDM systems out there, with the Avaya acquisition of Nortel and the economic difficulties of the last few years, many existing TDM systems will be migrated to hybrid (VoIP & TDM) systems rather than replaced by Cisco VoIP.
