One thing is for sure, our secondary has a chance to be DAMN good for a few years at least.

I personally think LL should be ranked higher...... 7 or 8

These guys plus our draft picks mean no more bottom dwellers as far as defense goes. I just hope we have a good resolution to out cornerback issue (Rogers FA).

Laron Landry is pretty solid -- his only real deficiency is in coverage because he is looking to hit, not necessarily cover

These are overall rankings not taking into account FS vs. SS. In our D we're in a lot of 1 high, or Cover 3. IMO it plays to each ones strengths ans puts OA at his best position as a true FS and LL near the LoS at SS. As an overal team position, I'd say we have a top 5 safety tandem and S is now a strength rather than a liability.

I've got a much bigger concern with CB. I'm not too comfortable going into 2011 with Hall, Barnes, and ????. Hopefully either Rogers is resigned or we land NA. I'd like to see Buchanon back for depth, versatility, and experience.

Well that's the reason we got OJ, Landry is not that great at coverage, but it is a good close-to-the-LOS safety.

If they are rated so highly, why did the Skins draft a safety? Why not another offensive lineman?
