Some good NFL News for a change.
La'Shaun Armstrong, survivor of tragic car crash, gets some help from Ravens LB Ray Lewis (http://www.nydailynews.com/sports/football/2011/04/29/2011-04-29_assists_10yearold_touched_by_tragedy.html)
Ray Lewis Helps N.Y. Boy After Mom’s Suicide Plunge « CBS Baltimore (http://baltimore.cbslocal.com/2011/04/30/ray-lewis-helps-ny-boy-after-moms-suicide-plunge/)
Pretty cool story, I didn't realize Ray's foundation is that great.. Kudos to him.

When I'm not stabbing people....
It has been a long time since that cawse was front page news, but I do not recall that Ray Lewis was ever rumored to be the person who did the stabbing in that incident.
If I recall correctly, Lewis plead guilty to obstruction of justice - - the same thing Barry Bonds was convicted of a couple of weeks ago. When his companions were tried on more severe charges in the incident, they were all acquitted.
I do not want to make out Ray Lewis to be a latter-day Mother Teresa, but I think it is irresponsible to say that he used to go around stabbing people.

I agree, Ray Lewis has turned his life around and has been a good citizen since...
He serves as an example to the younger players that it is possible to change and not be a thug all your life. You can change and it is in your benefit.

Ray really is a stand up guy. Check out this motivational speech he gave at Elon University just a couple weeks ago.

I swear Ray Lewis needs to be on someones payroll in the NFL when he hangs up his cleats. He has so much knowledge and wisdom to share with young guys that goes way beyond football.

I remember John Riggins saying something to the effect of wanting people to think he was crazy as opposed to tough. "The tough guy maybe you have a shot, but the crazy guy." You look at the people Ray Lewis was with that night, Lewis was the tough guy, the people with him were the crazy guys. I honestly don't believe he stabbed anyone but I do believe he knows who did.
Most likely, thanks to the "stop snitching" culture the man responsible for the murders in Atlanta is still walking free.
