Maybe we can now trade players for picks. I'm not a lawyer, nor do I play one on the TV, but it seems the NFL is back in business.

Props to SportsCurmudgeon also for telling us a while back of the Broncos interest to move down.
As I said in another thread though, I believe if we move up it's for Locker

Why would u guys think this would never happen? If MS thinks Gabbert is worth it he will go get him

Because he's not.
We will already have a weak draft, Shanahan cant be dumb enough to make it weaker.

With the Redskins, I have come to expect stupid on draft day. This rumor has really taken the wind out of my sails.

This is all a bunch of horsehockey....we're not trading up.
I'd love to agree with you on this, but like I said in that other thread. 3 out of 3 insiders I know of on other forums have all said the exact same thing Smoot has.
We were willing to trade our #10 and next years #1 and #3 to move up to to the #2. That #3 in the 2012 could be a #4 instead according to Smoot. They stated Gabbert, then Locker.
I wouldn't be upset with them picking Locker at the #10 spot, but giving up next years #1 and #3 (or #4 whichever it is) is ****ing insane.

Those people said Locker too? Interesting.

Shanny is thinking about a possible Sam Bradford like impact w Gabbert, the Rams roster was far worse than ours so anything is a possibility right now
For those that follow college ball closely, how does Gabbert compare to Bradford as a prospect?
