Damnit, you better be stoked! Putting this schedule together is hard work!! Many meetings and sleepless nights. Do I get a thank you? Nooooo....Ungrateful ingrates...

Yeah, I really just miss free agency

SS, do you have any inside knowledge of how the labor negotiations are going? Florio and other talking heads aren't confident at all...

(I don't really intend for the CBA thread to bleed into this one, but you mentioned a hypothetical coincidental announcement of an agreement which got me wondering)

No, I'm in the dark as anyone else. Some insiders will tell you it's close, others will tell you it's a long ways away.

No one truly knows

If the owners have any balls, they'll release an 18 game schedule.

Nah, y'all shoulda just pulled a writer's strike and said no CBA no schedule! I now blame SS and his unwillingness to stand up for us fans as the main reason there is no CBA yet. :soapbox:

And I will be adding you as a named defendant in my upcoming lawsuit!

Are they going to call this a Virtual Schedule?

I'd rather see a schedule of when these nimrods will settle everything....like tomorrow, tomorrow would be good.

These effing bastards gotta lot of nerve putting out schedules, draft, etc when they cant even get there stuff together to get an agreement. eff them all and goodell...

...but damn i cant wait to see the schedule

So they're supposed to put off all planning for the season that still could, probably will happen until...what...August?

Throw team names in a hat and pick the schedule a week before it starts?

Draft a week before the season?

I'm not defending the greedy jerks, but the league still should be planning for the season to happen, even if they're not sure. We don't want to actually get a season and then discover there are scheduling conflicts and other mishaps.

Well they made me pay for the tickets already so i should at least get to know which 8 days I need to make plans for. I would rather know the days even if they are gonna get cancelled then not know the dates at all.
