I guess...Jones. We have bigger fish to fry then WR plus I think Green is the better WR.
My real nightmare would be coming out of this draft without a QB to build around.
QB is the one position you don't want to make a mistake on. Most will agree we need a QB but, what we don't need is to reach just because we have a need.

Tough one, Quinn or Locker at 10 I wouldnt like.
Tremendous hurdle for Quinn to overcome. He's a very fortunate young man.
NFL draft: UNC’s Robert Quinn may be within Redskins’ reach - The Insider - The Washington Post (http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/football-insider/post/nfl-draft-uncs-robert-quinn-may-be-within-redskins-reach/2011/04/08/AFnNxp1C_blog.html)

Worst case scenario for me.... Cam Newton.
Best case scenario for me.... trade out of the 10th pick, get another 2nd round pick, draft either a RT to shore up the bookends or a Center to replace Rahback, draft a QB in the second (for me: Dalton or Ponder), and hopefully with the second #2 we can get a NT.
After that get what you want WR, RB, CB, K.... I don't care.

Quinn in the first. I don't like the idea of getting a guy that had to miss an entire year (at least it wasn't for an injury), on top of the potential to miss more time with the lockout. He'd be rusty and we'd probably be asking him to change positions. Not a good combo IMO.
In round 2 I'd be pissed if we went with McShay's new mock and took Kaepernick in the 2nd. I'd rather risk trying to get Stanzi in the 5th.
Funny how some of us have exact polar opposite opinions. My ideal draft if we stay is Quinn in the 1st and kaepernick in the 2nd.
IMO kaepernick with our 2nd would be the best qb for the value/spot taken in the draft. Newton gabbert locker and probably ponder are all going to go far sooner than they deserve.

I think the missing link is going to be what teams actually go after a QB and who they take prior to the #10 pick. It seemed only 1 or 2 teams have been mentioned as definitley needing one and most likely will pick one but I have a feeling there might be other teams who are looking also.
Carolina- might not be infatuated with last yrs pick.
Denver- same as above.
Buffalo- could pull the trigger for a QB.
Cinci- if Palmer leaves.
Arizona- despiratly needs one.
San Fran- not happy with their stable.
Tenn- needs a young QB to replace Young.
Washington- needs a Franchise QB.
I'm not saying they all will go after a QB with all the talent at other positions sitting on the board, but I could see more then 1 or 2 taking someone they are interested in if the QB is still on the board at their pick. Whats funnier is even the media is starting to talk about this very issue. It all could be all smoke and mirrors in order to get a sucker to trade up to get a specific player.

How long is Shanny planning on coaching? This is already year 2 and it takes time to groom a QB. If he does not identify a QB that he can work with out of this draft and go get him then we are in trouble.

I thought Shanny had a 5 yr deal? This being year 2 he will have 3 yrs to develope someone if need be and thats not mentioning if he steps back and hands the reigns to his son to be HC.

I'm with Smoot; Mallett would scare me, but I really have no fear of that. I am a little worried that AJ Green slips to us, and a little less worried about J. Jones. While I would love to see us draft a great wr it is such a boom/bust position & we aren't in a good position to do it. I have a bad feeling about Green, maybe just because of his low wonderlic.

I understand what you're saying but, I guess my concern is exactly where in the draft does he identify and draft that QB. I don't see the Redskins taking a QB at #10, we don't have another selection until #41. Depending on what other teams do when it comes to QB's you have to wonder who's going to be there for development purposes, as well as what we do in the interim.
My hope is that we could find a willing partner, trade down the 1st round and recoup a 2nd or 3rd which we so desperately need, making it easier to obtain that developmental QB especially since I don't see any of the top QB prospects being NFL ready year one.

Julio Jones.
Robert Quinn a close second as I don't think pouring that kind of $$$$ (between he and Orakpo) on one position would make sense.
