I'm glad I took a judo class a while back. One of the first things they teach you is how to get out of those situations where your pinned to the ground. I don't know how many I could get out of but at least I would have a chance in hell of escaping the position the bully was in. Now giving it another look it was a weird position for ground and pound. Usually the guy on top is below the waist. Basically whenever you go down you hope to have your legs on the outside so you can use them as leverage to escape.
