Of those choices, McNabb.

2nd pick - Grossman.

Serious.

We all know McNabb won't be there

If we're talking tendered free agents why not '06 Heisman winner Troy Smith? He showed flashes last season for the Niners.

I know he is not a FA, but I think Kyle Orton should have been included on this list. Broncos could probably wind up trading him easily with Tebow and the possibility to draft a QB in the draft. He would be #1 over all the others in the pole. Besides Orton, Kolb and then VY. We all know we can't trade for Kolb after the McNabb debacle.

Yeah, the list could have gone on to include Troy Smith, Kyle Orton, Bruce Gradkowski,Tarvaris Jackson and more but I chose to keep it limited to just the players that have been attached to the Redskins whether by legit info (Vince Young, Matt Hasselbeck, Marc Bulger-though that was last season really) or general speculation (Alex Smith, Carson Palmer).

And I threw Kevin Kolb in there because he's the biggest QB on the market and to see if people were willing to potentially give up a 1st rounder for Kolb vs. getting one of the other guys at a much cheaper price

I believe in Kevin Kolb as an NFL starter, but I like Palmer more in terms of leading a modern NFL offense. Maybe not more than Kolb in 2014. But today, tomorrow, and for the forseeable football future, he's the best option on the list.

Wow, I'm the only one who voted for Hasslebeck. I know he's old but he still has at least 3 more productive seasons in him. He plays big in the playoffs, he was robbed of one Superbowl, and he'll come much cheaper than Kevin Kolb. I'm still not completely sold on Kolb yet. The only problem with Matt is he's injury prone. Besides that the kid is money.

One Hasselbeck in a Redskins uniform is enough to last me a lifetime. Thanks, but no thanks. All kidding aside Matt has had a very good career, but I think that it should be done. He learned a lot from Farve and I hope Farve's last lesson doesn't go unwarranted. Retire before you're a punchline.

I think I would have answered "None of the above" had there been a choice.

The only one I'd put any type of thought into would have been Hasselbech and I really don't want him considering he's had a few injuries these last few years. At an extremely low price and strict contract I might think about Young but I look at him and see an over weight bloated drug abuser (I think of Elvis).

Bulger- no thanks. Don't think he's right for the system.
Hasselbech- old now and injury prone.
Palmer- again old now and injury prone.
Young- over weight, needs rehab, and needs to commit to studying more.
Kolb- sucks. sorry. even the Eagles finally figured that out.
Smith- I guess this is my pick if I must pick one. more accurate then Kolb.

I'd still rather pass on any of them. Why? because if you look at the situation honestly some are not going to work out in this system and the others will probably need a full year under the scheme to actually learn it backwards and forwards. Look what happened to McNabb, supposedly one of the best studyers and definitly better then any on the list and he had dificulties. I'll agree most if it was protection but I'd almost rather keep McNabb or let Grossman play another year while a Rookie is learning the scheme. McNabb has to be better after having a full year under his belt vs. any on the list.

and.... I'm actually not a McNabb fan. I like him personally and liked what skills he had in Philli but I didn't think he would be right here. Maybe we can stick in the Rookie when the team is way ahead of the opponant...... if that ever happens, so he can get experience.
