I'm staying out of this discussion because my opinion of the Junkies is basically the equivalent of what many people here think of Snyder. And I know the Junkies and have worked with them.
However, I have heard from multiple people similar McNabb stories (I will say sometimes he strikes me as kind of "Darrell Green"-ish; enough people here know what I'm talking about)
???
D. Green was stubborn? I've never heard that he was any sort of problem. Everything I've heard was positive and that he would do whatever asked.

I might be totally wrong on this, but isn't the guy a asshole? Not really a fan friendly type of player from some of the stories I heard. (ie...refuse to sign autograph, etc..)

He was usually one of the first out on the field and last to leave. Always greeting the fans after practice, always signing autographs. However toward the end of his career I think it came up that fans were taking the items he was signing and selling them on the Internet. I think D. Green got miffed that people were making a profit off of his signature and yeah I think he stopped signing autographs for adults.

I never heard that. Or saw it. Doesn't he have a charity?

There are a lot of exaggerations in this story about McNabb and about Snyder. Being made a much bigger deal than it needs to be. But I guess that's what happens with this lockout.
As for Green, I guess maybe I'll dig up some old posts

Charity doesn't necessarily make you a good person. Even Hitler and Stalin gave to charity. Heck Snyder tried to use his charity events as a get out of jail free card the media. Not saying thats why he did it, but some people don't really understand the concept of charity where the only times you should advertise is when your filling out your tax return or when your story will encourage someone else to give or donate. Unfortunately some people use charity to rid their concense of guilt or to get other people to like them (ie the attempt to buy respect overshadows the actual purpose of a charitable act).
Anyway I'm getting off track. The point is you can give to or start a charity and still be a jerk.

Having a charity doesn't exclude you from being an a-hole with a huge ego. I'll let SS take it from here.
