I had to go with Alex Smith, on potential alone...Kolb couldnt even beat out McNabb. (Enough said)

Actually he did. Thats why traded McNabb.

And fortunately for them they were smart enough to pick up Vick so they were able to trade away McNabb and now it looks like Kolb as well. Must be nice.

I love YouTube's filter system. Thanks to looking 20+ minute videos I was able to find one that shows every single Vince Young passing play. Completions, incompletions, Int's, scrambles, sacks, fumbles, you name it. If it happened in 2010 it's there. And the best part is this past year he played against the G-Men and Dallas. Obviously playing against us only means so much if we're looking at him and he was either hurt or benched for the Philly game.

After viewing all that DB, what is your assessment?

Half of them won't be playing and will be busts or cut. And No, we could have them play out, because it's not like they're all going to be pro bowl caliber players that are game changers, maybe Kerrigan, but I think he'll have struggles moving from a hand in the dirt DE to a standup OLB.

Kind of like Brian Orakpo huh?

Orakpo did, and still does struggle playing in coverage, if thats what you're getting at here.

I kinda like VY and Beck dishing it out for the starter position this year.

You are still banking on one player turning an entire franchise around. I honestly can't believe you're so adamant about this, being that you're a fan of the team.

From ESPN.com:

"News to me," a Redskins source tells Eric Edholm of Pro Football Weekly

I don't know who this source is, and if he's someone inside the Redskins organization. But if he is, what the hell else is he supposed to say? "Yes, we totally plan on signing a player who's currently under contract with another team"

Another view on VY-to-Redskins talk

AP
Earlier this afternoon, MDS pointed out an item from Omar Kelly of the South Florida Sun-Sentinel regarding talk that Titans quarterback Vince Young could be destined for D.C.

Terry McCormick of TitanInsider.com pointed out in an e-mail to PFT that Redskins coach Mike Shanahan counts former Titans coach Jeff Fisher and former Titans offensive coordinator Mike Heimerdinger among his closest friends. Neither Fisher nor Heimerdinger would be expected to endorse Young to Shanahan.

That said, the biggest question for Shanahan is whether he has any better options. Between Young, John Beck, and Rex Grossman, we’d take Vince Young every time.

Maybe not an endorsement, but certainly seems like Fisher believes Young can be successful

and Matt Leinart. I think those 3 would be the best combo going into the new season. I kinda wouldnt like to see Grossman with the team, he would be takin playing time away from the development of a possible starter.
