Is Kolb really winning this poll or is this another April Fools joke?
I don't think the people who picked kolb considered the fact that it will cost us our 1st round pick to get him. If they are all free then i would take kolb also...he's still young and has not proven to be good or bad yet. Who would not prefer that over a bunch of retreads if the cost is equal?

Yeah, like I said earlier in this thread, my main reason for putting Kolb in here was to see if people were willing to give up a high draft pick (possibly more than one) for him. And I guess they are.

I am guilty of that. I clicked the poll and then read the thread (whoops). My vote for Kolb does not take price into account. I'll bet that this is true of others.

Yeah because if they clicked Kolb knowing what they would have to give up they are flat out stupid. Once in a lifetime is bad enough. Don't need McNabb 2.0 the following year. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.

I picked Young, because of raw talent...will he be another headcase like Haynesworth?
Maybe, but at least Haynesworth didn't cost us a pick or anything, the only thing lost was dollars and a year of annoyance.
But the truth is, the best QB of the bunch including our currrent roster is none other than....Donovan McNabb. Especially if you are also drafting a QB of the future.
I can't believe any of you are suggesting going into the season with Rex as a starter...kinda reminds me of the Florida Redskins days with Danny Woeful (just not quite as bad)

I'm praying REX isn't the guy next year

Yea this is what I mean. I know Smoot intended everyone to factor in cost but i just don't believe that all those people who clicked on him would trade our #1 pick for him.

yea i just think people clicked his name before they completely understood. Either that or we got a lot of guys on this board ready to toss #1 picks around...

I also am guilty of that, I clicked on Kolb, but realize I chose him cause he asked who we would like to see, no way do i take any of the listed QB's for a number one draft pick.
