If someone who has a siamese twin commits murder, are they still punished?

This question is driving me crazy!

Okay, so lets say a woman is a siamese twin (conjoined) and she kills someone. Would she still get convicted and sent to jail even though it would mean her innocent attached sister is being punished for a crime they did not commit?

What Quake said. Since you know the twin had been there and couldn't stop it, that twin would most likely be charged as an accomplice.
