You should have started a new thread on that, and see if it even gets one page worth of replies
I'm sure you would get a lot of replies like this...

Yup as expected, only bad press for Danny keeps the trolls happy.

Yeah pretty sure it would be a waste of a new thread.
How crazy would it be to see Allen and Snyder walking down Bourbon St.?
I don't live far from New Orleans. Now I wish that I had gone to the French Quarter last night. Running into Snyder and Allen would be too cool. Maybe they'd buy me a beer, too. How cool would it be to share Guinness with Allen while I raved about the influence of the Allen family on the Skins!

Title suggestion:
Mr. Daniel Snyder Puts Himself In Common Man Shoes and Doesnt Act Like an Asshole For About 10-15 Minutes; Meanwhile Team Has Losing Record During His Tenure
I mean is trying to buy some positive PR by buying Dan Stienberg 10-15 minutes of chat time and a beer a positive thing or just a non-negative thing? Call me old fashion but I just don’t like people who regularly do bad things even if they try and make up for it every once in a while. Youre supposed to do non-negative stuff AND nice stuff all the time.

Come on B at least get your hater facts in order. This article doesn't even come from the Post, Steinberg just referenced a piece written in a Pittsburgh paper.

Like I said prior, I'm not opposed to any professional team protecting their trademarks, but I also believe you have to take the whole picture into account.
This team needs all the good will and press that it can get, and I don't think pulling the Trademark card at the local paper (who you've been feuding with for a decade) is going to help you any. This franchise is at a crucial stage right now. Many fans can be won or lost in a matter of a few years. It's really up to Danny boy and how he plays it. Is he going to continue to be that arrogant asshole that doesn't listen to anybody and does exactly what he wants or is he going to be that guy that can shut the **** up, stay out of the football operations and let professionals run his team. For our sakes, I hope it's the latter.
Interesting enough the Habs decided to get their named pulled from their local paper at a time their fans were 11th on the list of worst fans in America. You'd think they'd need all the good press they can get.
I'd like to know why we need all this good press. Is it going to change how the team plays? Will it make us any better? Beside the diehard fans does anyone really give a rats ass? I know alot of skins fans and can tell you we don't sit around talking about DS and what he has or has not done off the field.
I agree FD. The average fan doesn't give two shits about this stuff.

My bad i misread it and thought it was Steinberg’s encounter.
But that doesnt really change the thoughts in my post. Youre supposed to act like a decent person all the time, people rarely get called out and recognized for doing positive or non-negative stuff. A new thread started about how Snyder somehow managed not to do anything bad last week wouldnt generate over a page worth of replies, because it illustrates how a normal decent person acts.

Honestly what are we supposed to say? Tony the PR guy got a pitts sprots writer whom he is friends with to sit down and have a beer with him DS and Allen in New Orleans.
After 15 mins the pitts writer walks away thinking the DS isnt a bad egg.
Do you think this pitts writer would have blogged this non-story if he wasnt friends with Tony? Seems Tony was doing his job, getting a buddy to do a fluff 2 second piece.
This comes off as satire to me. Breaking News! Breaking News! Dan Snyder acts like a normal person for 15 minutes!
Im not sure what the point of the blog was but it was either:
1) the pitts writer was so surprised the DS acted normal for 15 mins he just had to tell the world
or
2) he did a quick harmless favor for Tony his buddy and PR guy for the trampeled upon DS
Im sure Tony will just so happen to try and get photos of the DS with his hair down and looking like a regular dude having a beer circulating soon enough. Thats not a 15 min PR plug people, thats who he is a likable approachable person who puts his pants on one leg at a time.
Do you honestly think that 2 second piece wasnt a PR plug done for a friend? hahaha
