Tiki may indeed never make an NFL squad and even if he does, there is no guarantee he will be any good at all. At the same time, Antonio Pierce would be extremely lucky even to get an invitation to come to an NFL training camp in any capacity other than a reporter covering the events there. I cannot read minds - - but I wonder if this is a factor in his comments...? I realize that Pierce and Tiki Barber are not BFFs and that divide is likely never to be crossed by either party. Nevertheless, the degree of rancor that I sense in Pierce's comments is more than I would expect from an analyst who is paid for his professional insight into matters such as these. My reading is that his comments are a lot more "personal" than most of his other commentaries are. Maybe he just does not like Tiki Barber and would hate to see Tiki succeed in coming back to the NFL. And MAYBE he would be doubly ticked off to see a successful return by Tiki because He can't do it too...?
