GW would have stunk it up if only because Vinny would have F'd things up for him, and GW wouldn't have put up with his shit. All things equal with a supportive front office structure in place, I'd hire Williams over Zorn as HC anyday. While I'm not necessarily defending Gregg Williams as a head coach, let me state that just because a guy sucks it up as head coach on one team doesn't meant he will never be head coach material. Just take a look at Bill Belichick. Compiled a 36-44 record from '91 -'95 as the Cleveland head coach and look what he did in New England. But as far as Vinny goes, the best thing he could have done for the Redskins was to hire Zorn as head coach, because that move ultimately led to the demise of Vinny Cerrato as Redskins' General Manager and that's a good thing. Says he did his radio show bc Zorn was bad with the media; says Zorn was stubborn and wouldnt listen to others' suggestions. No coach in their right mind would ever step foot into a situation like that. They are the ones that hire the offensive/defensive coordinators and to have them already picked?...lol Who did they expect would want the job? It's exactly why their only resort was Zorn.
