I would pick Green because Jones has lapses in concetration while catching the ball that Green did not.
All those measurables don't mean squat if you can't catch the ball when your open.

To quote Bill Walsh, "Only pick a WR when all other positions have been solidified."
That said, I think neither will be there at 10, and if they are, trade down.

If I am absolutely forced to take a WR...I would take Green. Before the combine there was very little doubt that Green was the top WR based on what both players put on tape during the season. The combine seemed to vault Jones ahead of Green and I just don't believe the combine drills should count more then the college career.

Deffff green. Jones might have higher measurables, but Green's fluidity on the field can't be matched by Jones. Jones might be a better track athelet, but Green was made to play football. It comes with such ease to him. Body control is more important than speed when running routes.

But we REALLY need to find some OL talent somehow.
There! I've fixed this whole silly thread! And while we're at it, let's find some DL talent somehow. Either or, both! Yea! Both!

I have A.J. Green as a top ten pick and I have Julio Jones as a second rounder.
Jones has raised his stock a LOT in the past year, and the combine was the culmination was that. Prior to the 2010 season, Jones looked for the world like perhaps a fourth rounder who would have to stay at Alabama through 2011 to raise his stock. I'd be careful to say he's ascended into top 10 consideration, even with his bat-crazy combine performance. Still like him in the second round way more than the first, but he's definitely on the rise, and can be really productive if paired with a stud no. 1 such as Roddy White.

I simply wouldn't touch either of these guys but Green looks like the guy who's ready to play now.

One of these players has risk. The other doesn't.
I hope they are both gone by #10.

I wish this organization would take his advice.
