Good luck CP. One of my favorite players for a long time and yet another worthless jersey hanging in my closet. I would have loved for him to stay but i guess when its time for him to go its just time
Shanahan: Portis will be allowed to test the market (updated: Portis officially released)rstone1979 02-28-2011, 04:58 PM Good luck CP. One of my favorite players for a long time and yet another worthless jersey hanging in my closet. I would have loved for him to stay but i guess when its time for him to go its just time skinsfan69 02-28-2011, 05:04 PM Portis was awesome, good memories and solid back. Out of the players who may still stand a chance to be back next year, I think Clinton stands a better chance than Fat A$$ Peice of Sh*t and McNabb. I could see him taking less money and returning. He's not coming back here. It's time to turn the page people. You could hear it in his voice. No way he comes back to a below average team. I think it's over for the guy. He had a pretty good career. SolidSnake84 02-28-2011, 05:07 PM I have the most awful feeling that he's gonna be a live camp body, and look good somewhere in drills and stuff, but then end up like Larry Johnson. LJ tore it up here in practice and in OTA's, but when he got onto the field for gametime, he didnt have it anymore. jamf 02-28-2011, 05:16 PM I would love to see him end up in New Orleans. mlmdub130 02-28-2011, 05:31 PM I would love to see him end up in New Orleans. that makes two of us, he is a lot cheaper than reggie and a better blocker diehard 02-28-2011, 05:45 PM Feels a bit like when Stephen Davis left ... Similiarly, I guess with injuries. MTK 02-28-2011, 05:48 PM Davis had more in the tank when he left than CP does. celts32 02-28-2011, 05:49 PM I wish him luck but it's time to turn the page. I am glad he never broke Riggos record. GTripp0012 02-28-2011, 06:16 PM I think Portis eventually ends up in New England as their nominal no. 1 back. But he'll be spitting with Green-Ellis, Woodhead, and Morris, so he'll be starting in name only. DCtoAZ 02-28-2011, 06:26 PM def goes down as one of my favorite Redskins of all time ... in a rough patch of years for the Skins' he was really a shining light ... hell of a blocker, probably the best blocking RB i've ever seen .... HTTR .. Good Luck Clinton |
