New Orleans Saints | Interested: Tommie Harris?, Clinton Portis?

With Clinton Portis released by the Washington Redskins and Tommie Harris cut by the Chicago Bears, ESPN NFC South blogger Pat Yaskinkas says both players could find a home with the New Orleans Saints.
Yasinkas says the Saints have a hole in their running back rotation. "Chris Ivory will be back and Reggie Bush probably will be back," he writes. "Pierre Thomas is likely to leave as a free agent and that means the Saints need someone to go in their rotation with Ivory and Bush."
He also thinks Harris would look good in black and gold. "The Saints have Sedrick Ellis, but not much else at defensive tackle," he writes, adding, "I'm not saying Harris will come in and suddenly be a Pro Bowler again, but I think he'd be an upgrade for the Saints and that makes him worth at least considering."

McIntosh is probably on his way to New Orleans as well once he's allowed to test the market.
