Football was meant to be played indoors?

If it ain't broke, don't fix it. Football IS an outdoor sport. It was created as such.
Concur, Football is an outdoor sport.

However, PROFESSIONAL Football is a Business.

With that in mind, the venues have been changed to appeal to the fan. The NFL does not want to appeal only to the purist, but rather to the masses. And having indoor stadiums is only one of the ways they do that.

I'm calling off the dogs, this thread is obviously going nowhere.
