It's degenerative, basically your brain's ability to function properly slowly wears away, memory, cognitive thinking, etc decline. Often causes depression. Also increase the investment for research of new helmets and equipment. He needs to worry less about increasing the regular season and thus increasing violent contact and the chance of head injuries. The season is long enough already, the players take a beating already. OTA's, Mini camps, training camp, preseason and regular season is a lot of football. The players get unfairly pressured into participating in all of them. If they do not, they get brutalized in the press and by crazy fans. A veteran player that is skilled and knows his teams system does not need to participate in all of these. It is for the rookies and new players to the team.
