Moss will go up for a ball and is pretty good in the red zone when things start to get physical, he just isn't afforded the option very often

I think it has more to do with the opponants CB's and how tall they are. If they are taller then our WR's then balls will get batted away or intercepted. We would be forced to run slants and curls. So it is nice to have tall WR's since most CB's are starting to come out 6' plus.

I think it has everything to do with how good the corners are at covering and how good the receivers are at separating and catching. 10 out of 10 times I'll put a shorter corner on a bigger man in the red zone if he can cover better. Same thing with the receivers. At 5-11 Greg Jennings came in 2nd in TDs in the league with 12. Also at 5-11 theres Darelle Revis, need more be said about him. If skill/speed/hands are the same, height helps, but a shorter better guy is the better option no matter where you are.

I somewhat agree with you.... I mean look at D.Green, he was short, but he was smart enough to bat the ball or fight for it as the WR was coming down with the ball because of his hight. As long as he stayed close through out the route running he had a chance but your absolutely right it's all about seperation. Short guys would need to stay close in order to knock the ball away where as taller guys can afford to lose a step so long as they can out jump their opponant.

I really hope that we don't sign Braylon Edwards;
- We don't have a QB, so it's going to be a similar situation as AH
- He gets in trouble with the law (drunk driving, club fights)
- He drops too many catchable balls
- There are better or just as good options out there on the market (Malcolm Floyd)

EW. Old. Pass. I guarantee you we aren't throwing away money or players to trade for old washed up vet QB's. They only guy I would ever consider trading for is Kyle Orton, and I don't think that will happen. Build our other areas of need this off season and get a good QB in the draft this year. We aren't going to fix the whole team in one go.

Don't sign a washed up vet just to say you did, sign someone who will have a great impact down the road and wait until you can get a QB with good value and hopefully longevity. It's not like we would sign a vet QB to groom a young guy we already have for the future. I doubt anyone we have here will be a long term solution for our team at the QB position for years to come.

I'm just saying..he's got a chance if you get some guys around him.
