So he goes from prison straight to NFL hell... His crime wasn't that bad.

I'm glad that he has a job. I don't buy the take-a-year-off thing, though. He'll be a year older without having played for a year - who will want him on the gridiron? He's done.

Washington Redskins: Owner Dan Snyder gave defensive tackle Albert Haynesworth and cornerback DeAngelo Hall around $36 million in bonus money in 2010 to free up room to be a big spender in free agency in 2011. Snyder and Mike Shanahan will have to be creative in how they structure contracts, because the $120 million cap would give them only around $10 million of cap room. On the positive side, the Redskins' current payroll is $75.7 million, meaning Snyder would have to spend close to $45 million in cash to meet the potential minimum floor requirements. Imagine a system that forces Snyder to spend.

This article title misconstrues what Cooley says so bad. Cooley says, and I quote, "If you were going to take a risk on a guy that's a good player, he's probably the guy you're going to take a risk on."

He follows that up by saying, "He'll probably step in a locker room, keep his mouth shut, work hard and try to earn his way back into the league the first season,"

Cooley does not say he thinks the Redskins are going after him. He only states that someone would most likely take a shot with him over someone like T.O. or Ochocinco. Terrible title for this article.

Yeah, exactly. I kept seeing that Cooley said Burress would be a fit, but no where does he ever say that.

Redskins misquoted in the press? Nooo...

Title says he could go to Redskins, and article says Cooley thinks they need a big time receiver and Plax is someone who could do well. That's all, we're the only ones making the assumption the Redskins are going after Plax, and that somehow CC is confirming it

Just like we are looking for stories so are they looking for stories, nobody ever checks these writers they can misquote whoever and get away with it.

What exactly was misquoted?
