For that $$ I would have no problem letting #22 walk.

And it turned out he signed a deal with Buffalo that got included an $18 million signing bonus.

So...same source is telling me Los is asking for a $24 million signing bonus...and he's got the same agent as Dockery.

Now, could this source be wrong? Of course, but his track record tells me it's not quite so likely

What do you all think. $24 million? Worth it?
Here's what I would offer to Rogers. We will put 24 $1 million dollar checks in 24 footballs and throw them at you in a simulated live situation. Each ball you catch cleanly, you keep the million guaranteed in your contract. If you bobble or drop it, you get nothing. How much would he get guaranteed then?

I dont know Todd France at all but I believe he's really influencing Los (like he did Dock) these are two guys who I know want (wanted) to stay. It's a shame they seem to be letting their agent dictate their course of action when it should be the other way around

Would be sad if he left after wanting to stay. 24 mil bonus is way too much, I was thinking about 15 at most.

Maybe the difference will be that Dock got his $18 mil. from Buffalo, but does anyone really see Los getting $24 mil in this market? Or even 20ish? I haven't taken a look at the list of free agent CBs other than Asomougha & Taylor, but I think the market in general will be too flooded & cautious for a lot of huge signings.

On average Los should get around 4 mil a year with a 15 mil signing bonus based off his play IMO. His asking price, if true... is nutts! If he gets it somewhere, best of luck to him because we could get a better corner at that asking price.

When Dock got his contract with Buffalo there was a run on the bank for Guards. These days we have cornerback being the hot position, with "Revis island" and Charles Woodson winning defensive player of the year in 2009 while playing a major part in the Pack's Super Bowl run this past year.

Not saying that Rogers will be held up in the same esteem as those two but I feel like now more then recent years teams are willing to overpay for Corners.
