You're right but I don't want to go another year without a player capable of consistently manning the Nose Tackle position. Besides the Dolphins already franchised Soliai and the first two picks in the draft are already looking to be OLB/QB.
Nose Tackle is one of those positions where old men can still play at a high level and given it's level of importance I wouldn't want to risk it by hoping to stumble on a late round gem. Not that we shouldn't draft one but a quality Nose tackle goes a long way towards helping this defense turn the corner.

As much as anyone else I am salivating to get a young, dynamic NT. However, nose tackles need rest. Jamal can help us to have a fine rotation and can teach the young buck who is not yet on the roster.

I think that's just him speculating that Asomugha could sign here. He wants money and he wants to play on the East Coast apparently. Haven't heard he's high on our radar

Sims-Walker: 'My time is up' in Jacksonville
The Jaguars informed free agent Mike Sims-Walker that they are moving on without him in 2011.
Sims-Walker confirmed the news on his Twitter account, writing, "Sorry to say my time is up" in Jacksonville. Sims-Walker fell out of favor with the coaching staff in 2010, and it was widely believed all along that the Jags would let him walk. He falls into the second tier of free agent receivers as a talented but extremely brittle playmaker. Barring an impact addition, Hill will have sleeper value in deeper leagues as a starter Jacksonville.
