Herschel Walker eyeing a return to NFL? - ESPN (http://espn.go.com/extra/mma/blog/_/name/mma/id/6055029/herschel-eyes-nfl-return)

We talked about this last year, but i think this guy is for real.

Walker is a freak of nature, and at 48, he claims he is just as good as he was, running a 4.39 40 just last year.

Is this a stunt? It's hard to believe that at 48 any team would give him a chance, but i'm starting to think that due to his freakish shape, and athleticism some team is going to give him a shot....

Get him and then trade him to Minnesota for a boatload of draft picks.

Actually i dont think any team would mind him at that price. He can obviously play...its not like he's trying to be a starter.

He is just trying to crack the roster of any team to try and show the world that older people can still live their dreams and enjoy what they love. In his own words he compares his comeback with George Foreman's...

He's 48 years old. He'll be 49 at the start of the season.

Have you seen him though. I really think he could do it as a role player, like 3rd-down back.

I'd love to be the team to give him a shot. Despite being a Cowboy, I've always been a fan of him as a person.
