I didn't see that from Urlacher. He actually defended him:
Urlacher defends Cutler, blasts critics - Extra Points - Boston.com (http://www.boston.com/sports/football/patriots/extra_points/2011/01/urlacher_defend.html)
You are right, Brian was bitching out the NFL players that bitched Cutler out for being a quitter on Twitter.
Quitter on Twitter. I made a rhyme!

Urlacher wasn't mad at Cutler
Somehow, even though he went 0-4, TC had a higher QB rating than Roethlisberger
My mistake, Brian was bitching out those NFL players that questioned Cutler's toughness, etc. THe first time I saw the press conference it sounded like he was bitching about his teammate(s).

I'm not on Cutler's side by any means, but Urlacher was outspoken in his defense of him.
You are right GM. I thought Brian was bitching out Cutler, when he was bitching out the guys on Twitter like Maurice Jones Drew, etc that questioned Cutler's toughness, etc. Cutler did come off like a dork though, plus he played like crap.

Yes, the doctors word is final. Teams face the risk of fines and loss of draft picks if they play someone after a doctor rules them out. As I said before it's kind of ironic considering the owners insisting on 18 games but the safety issues are being taken seriously. Teams and players are not allowed to circumvent team doctors when it comes to injuries.
Really? Rivers could hardly walk and he played. And I know for a fact that the Doctors didn't clear him to play. I've seen players play with broken ribs, players like Ronnie Lott who amputated his finger so he could continue playing. Brett Farve playing with a fracture in his ankle etc. Lastly, NFL team doctors are a joke. These are the same Doctors who use to routinely clear players to play a week after suffering a concussion. That's why the NFL stepped in and required that a player has to get evaluated by an independent neurologist, because they know the team Doctors are often full of shit.

Yea I just can't see a doctor telling a millionaire he can't play in the game.. I understand rules but lets be realistic.

Cutler is getting eviscerated by the Chicago fans on ESPN. Here's a one of my favorites.

Well time to go burn my Cutler jersey. There is no way I would want to be seen in public with it on...
Oh snap

Damn! I wonder if it will make the highlights, but on Pits opening drive they showed Sanchez on the sidelines pick his nose and then wipe it on Brunells jacket. Then you can read Brunells lips saying "did you just wipe a bugger on me" then camera panned away and the commentators didn't mention it

All thanks to having the best DC and HOF, Dick LeBeau.
Interesting you bring that up...
When Tomlin was hired, he kept LeBeau on AND he allowed LeBeau to continue to run the 3-4 defense that LeBeau favors. However, Tomlin was on record as saying that he preferred a switch to the 4-3 but he was deferring to the expertise and the excellence that LeBeau had shown for decades in the NFL.
Tomlin demonstrated flexibility and a willingness to accept the possibility that someone else on the staff might know more than he does about some aspect of the NFL game.
Hmmm.....
