Plus lets be real if a player wants to play can a doctor really stop him? Yes, the doctors word is final. Teams face the risk of fines and loss of draft picks if they play someone after a doctor rules them out. As I said before it's kind of ironic considering the owners insisting on 18 games but the safety issues are being taken seriously.
