Personally, I'd like to keep him for the length of the contract- riding the pine or playing so we and the Danny have a stern reminder NEVER to sign a head case like this again and NEVER to let a knucklehead like a Vinny Cerrato be allowed to select personnel for this team again.

Hey there is an idea. Can we black list Cerrato like Vegas casinos do to card counters?!?

I listen to the local DC area sportsradio and you hear people like "just send him away from here", etc.
I find that so stupid -why send a motivated Haynesworth (to kick our ass) to the one man who knows how to use him in the division, so that we can play him twice a year. Not smart.
I don't think he should be sent to a division rival, but he needs to go period. I don't see the point of keeping him here. Some have said (correctly) that it is going to take time to fix Vinny Cerrato's mess, well it is also going to be expensive. Whatever money we lose by trading AH will be well spent by not having this circus here anymore.

So the losing seasons and the money they've lost on guys like this are not much of a reminder? Honestly, keeping him on the team makes no sense whatsoever. If Shanahan truly wants to change the culture of this team, he would get rid of this circus of a situation.

Since we are talking hypothetically, If AH was to go to Philly, and if we were to become a true competitive team, it be nice to see us dominate and shut his ass down and remind him what missed out on. He's not the same AH we remember in Tenn. Personally, I don't see him ever being a dominate player ever again. I say make us a deal and he's yours. "Just send him away from here"

Whenever the idea of "Haynesworth in Philly" comes to mind, I remember that Andy Reid lived through the joyous times with Terrell Owens and saw what that kind of presence in a locker room can do to a team.
Then I ask myself:
"Is Andy Reid dumb enough to choose to go through all that again?"
That is why I suspect Big Al will not be an Eagle next year...
