Jets
Who do you want to see in the SB?44ever 01-13-2011, 12:54 PM Jets celts32 01-13-2011, 12:54 PM Seattle because everybody be hatin' (for good reason) and I guess the Jets because I'd rather not see the Patriots, Ravens or Steelers. The problem with Seattle is while it could be a fun story that the losing team keeps winning...they will lose by 50 to the AFC and ruin the Super bowl. I don't want them ruining championship Sunday or the Super Bowl when they crash and burn...and that will happen it's just a matter of when. Slingin Sammy 33 01-13-2011, 12:54 PM Falcons vs. Patriots - Don't like the Jets or "Sanchise" (overrated) - Seahawks....a 7-9 team in the SB...ugh. - Don't want to listen the the "Sixburgh" fans come up with a new slogan for 7 SBs. - Can't stand Ravens fans, don't really mind the team. - Don't like da Bears, but having NE put a nice revenge ass-whoopin' on them would be pretty fun to watch. - Packers would be OK, plus seeing Rogers win a SB would be a good shot at Mr. Ego, Favre. SouperMeister 01-13-2011, 12:55 PM Packers vs. Patriots I picked the Packers to win the Super Bowl before the season, and I really believe that they will advance this weekend. New England is clearly playing at a high level. It would be a great matchup with perhaps the two best QBs in the game. Ruhskins 01-13-2011, 01:28 PM anyone but new england and their legion of hardcore fans that have all been around since 2000. A lot of them just waiting for baseball to start. sportscurmudgeon 01-13-2011, 01:35 PM Patriots and Bears skinsguy 01-13-2011, 01:36 PM I, personally, would like to see a Green Bay VS New England Super Bowl. Would like to see Rodgers win it all to rub it in the face of Bret Favre. Realistically, I smell another Super Bowl title for New England. Love 'em or hate 'em, you have to respect how the Patriot organization has kept being successful for as long as they have. They have pretty much been a good to elite team since Bill Parcells had coached them. New England's FO knows how to put together a winning franchise, and that is something I am very jealous of. It reminds me of the 49ers and Redskins of the 1980's. I'm not sure why it is that one franchise can figure out how to be consistently good in modern times and other franchises (like our beloved Redskins) have not been able to figure it out yet? You would think they would study the Patriot organization and learn something from them. Then again, who's to say they haven't? If the time comes that our Redskins organization follows in the footsteps of teams like the Patriots or the Steelers (ugh) then I just wonder how obnoxious our own fan base will be? mredskins 01-13-2011, 01:52 PM I, personally, would like to see a Green Bay VS New England Super Bowl. Probably just as bad, I have been a life long Red Sox fan and since 2004 I have rarely worn my cap in public it is embarassing becasue the majority of the fair weather fans are dumb asses and you end up getting lumped in with them. I can remember back in the 90's when you you could hang out in front of Fenway and uaully score a free ticket, now days bring your first born or at least an extra arm and leg to purchase a ticket. Don't get me wrong I love that they are winners now but just be ready to prove your loyalty. IF it happens to the Skins you will be saying things like I was cheering for them when McNabb was QB! skinsguy 01-13-2011, 02:01 PM Probably just as bad, I have been a life long Red Sox fan and since 2004 I have rarely worn my cap in public it is embarassing becasue the majority of the fair weather fans are dumb asses and you end up getting lumped in with them. I expect that to happen too! mlmpetert 01-13-2011, 02:04 PM Atlanta and New England. Yep the 2 best teams. Some people think New England is going to take it all and beat who ever plays them big, but i doubt it. Every Superbowl they have been in has been close. I guess NE has the "experience" but i think ATL would win. I hate the eagles more then any team, but im a big Vick fan and was really hoping to see him walk into ATL for the NFC Championship (and watch ATL crush them). Now that its no longer a possability this is the game i really want to see. |
