True, but like I said, the same thing would have happened to a republican congressman. Each side of the aisle makes its share of things like this, which is why I find it silly when someone from the left or the right "points this out".

I hate all waisted spending who ever it is. I'm not saying this was waisted spending just unnecessary.

Giffords condition upgraded to good and was officially moved into the rehab facility moments ago. Appearantly she Tweeted during last night's SOTU and watched TV the previous day. Sounds like she's improving.

I just don't see why we had to spend all that money and make such a big deal to move her from one place to the other. Police escort, private jet, and then a helicopter.

Sorry, but the lady took a bullet while doing her job meeting with her constituents. She also became a solid target for any other person wanting notoriety or taking on a cause. I am not a defender of gov't spending by any account, but this should and would be absolutely consider reasonable expenses.

If this was a republican congressman I doubt we would hear a peep out of first.
