^ Under Zorn Flacco had his best season. From what I read, Zorn's ouster has much to do with philosophical differences with Cam Cameron, perhaps less to do with actual performance.

KLHJ2 01-27-2011, 07:09 PM I guess that this doesn't qualify as good enough production. In his only season as the Ravens quarterbacks coach, Zorn was known for his quirky drills. Compared to 2009, Flacco’s touchdowns (25) and quarterback rating (93.6) increased this year, his interceptions (10) decreased and his passing yards (3,622) remained essentially the same Then again he was throwing to Mason, TJ, Bolden, Stallworth so I guess that his numbers should have trippled. :bs: Oh well, I could care less. It looks like Zorn is free to finally move onto Cleveland. I am not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing. GMScud 01-27-2011, 07:10 PM ^ Under Zorn Flacco had his best season. From what I read, Zorn's ouster has much to do with philosophical differences with Cam Cameron, perhaps less to do with actual performance. Fair enough. I still can't believe he was our head coach for not one, but two seasons. The whole play calling tree fiasco when Zorn got castrated and the bingo caller was installed.... I mean... that was probably the most embarrassed I've ever been as a Skins fan. Even worse than Spurrier. So will Bud Adams do a 180 and keep VY, or is that relationship done as well? Tennessee has a great chance at winning the Andrew Luck sweepstakes at this point. Also, do you think Fisher will pull a Gruden/Cowher and take a few seasons off? Retire for good? Coach next year somewhere? SmootSmack 01-27-2011, 07:32 PM Just saw that come across on the 6pm SC. I wouldn't be surprised if Young stays, though I still think they're taking a QB (maybe not in the first) With both Fisher and Washburn gone, I don't think they'll want AH so much anymore there As for Fisher. He could take some time off. Or maybe the Giants give him a call. Or the Texans? Tough to say, it's a bit of a stunner. It looked like he was gone, then it seemed like Adams had changed his mind GMScud 01-27-2011, 07:43 PM I wouldn't be surprised if Young stays, though I still think they're taking a QB (maybe not in the first) With both Fisher and Washburn gone, I don't think they'll want AH so much anymore there As for Fisher. Also, Clayton used the word "fired" about Fisher, not resign. skinsfaninok 01-27-2011, 07:59 PM It was time for fish to go IMO |
