Sounds like he was close to the Michigan job but then decided he should ask for more. And ultimately Michigan said there's only so much we're willing to offer. I live in the SF Bay area and have been following him since he was hired at Stanford and have seen what he has accomplished. He comes from a solid family coaching background (father, brother, himself) 15 years NFL experience. He is the real deal, watch and weep, you'll be sad the Redskins didn't hire him. Those days in today's NFL are over except NE an that's just because their unreal.. I see what your saying about his family background etc.. But like I said earlier Hes never been a HC in the NFL, the players are boss in the league it's not college kids anymore. Does that mean you can't be successful?? Heck no but it makes it harder.
