I also heard about Brown that he maybe comming back next year not necessarly as a backup or a starter byt on the coaching staff? That is one hell of an impact the guy has had.

Where did these guys watch the games from during Gibbs 1.0? I remember seeing Breaux on the sidelines during 1.0....I'm not really sure how many teams were using coaches in the press box during the 80's if any. That is one hell of an impact the guy has had. Ray Brown turns the big 4-2 on Sunday. I'm sure he'd like a Redskins victory for his birthday! By the way, has Jon Jansen been on the sidelines at all? I see Michael Barrow there all the time and I had heard Jansen might be there later in the season. So far I haven't seen him CROOKEDSKINS 12-10-2004, 03:07 AM Yeah How Is Jansen Comeback Going I Havent Heard Any News On How Hes Doing That Guy 12-10-2004, 05:19 AM i know he wasnt there earlier cause of the wheelchair and that that could be a distraction... last i heard he's on track right now... skinsguy 12-10-2004, 01:35 PM I guess one thing to think about though is if you're a star player on a football team and you've had a recent leg injury, then standing on the sidelines might not be so wise as there exists that danger of a play going out of bounce. SmootSmack 12-10-2004, 01:42 PM I guess one thing to think about though is if you're a star player on a football team and you've had a recent leg injury, then standing on the sidelines might not be so wise as there exists that danger of a play going out of bounce. That's true. Though they could do like they do in the NBA where injured players are made to sit at the end of the bench or behind the bench to reduce the chance of a play going out of bounds and hurting them offiss 12-10-2004, 04:24 PM I believe you have to have someone surveying the field in the booth it gives you a much better perspective overall on what the defense is trying to do, although Gibb's call's the play's suggestion's from above can be very helpful. Now if we can only get our replay analist out of the toilet and into a booth we would be fine! |
