We just have to realize that some of these younger 'skins fans don't know what it means to have pride in their favorite team. They grow up during the losing years and all they know how to do is to hate on the team and to shoot down any positives the team, or its players receive.

You just don't understand what it means to "keep it real".

Fox didn't even try with that broadcast team last night... just brutal. Just like the game I guess.

Yeah, Billick and Thom were really bad all game. I think it's like you said, they just didn't care. They could've done better than those two. They even said after D.Hall got MVP that he was a replacement, when he was actually voted in in the first place.

And what's all this talk about people hating on D.Hall?

Reality is, he's not a shutdown CB. He's a playmaker. Certain players' attributes have thier tradeoffs.

Im sure people will still hate D Hall, guy made his case yet again why he deserved to be on the probowl roster. Its truely funny and sad skins fans continue to hate literrally the only true playmaker on this team. It would be nice to include Laron, but he cant stay on the field long enough to be considered.

Sure he's a playmaker, but he's also a huge liability as well. Think Allen Iverson. AI lead the league in steals (and scoring) on numerous occasions, yet failed to make a single NBA All-Defensive first or second team his entire career. You got to ask yourself why is that? How can a man lead the league in steals, yet not even get a whiff of the all-defense team. I tell you why, it's because he was a gambler. He left his man on many occasions and played the passing lanes. In the end, it look good on paper, but it cost his team games and created a huge liability on the defensive end.

I equate that with D-Hall. The guy is a play maker, but consistency is where it's at in the league, not ESPN highlights. You can't get 4 INTs in one game, and turn around and let some scrub WR beat you on a deep route to win the game because you aren't disciplined enough to play the position.

Any Redskin fans talking about "younger fans" and other bull shit. Listen, I'm damn near 40 years old and I've seen the Skins in their glory years so it has nothing to do with the crap this other guy was saying a few posts back. It's called "being a realist". I can cheer on my favorite team without being a clueless homer that believes that their players are more valuable or have no flaws.

I'd rather think Brett Farve. leads the league in INT's yet...

Well, I guess that was directed at me. Likewise, I think it is just as equally unrealistic and clueless to down those who happen to applaud the players on our team who receive positive accolades. I mean, nobody here is saying D. Hall is the greatest CB to ever play the game, I don't think that at all, but I'm proud he was voted into the Pro Bowl and that he was the MVP. I mean, I here a lot of negativity from these fan sites every day, and a lot of it is just plain out belly-aching. You have people who say that D. Hall didn't deserve to play in the Pro Bowl, then when he plays well and receives honors at the game, then the same people say that the Pro Bowl is just a joke anyways. I mean, regardless what you think about the player, can't the fans be happy for them when they do something right?
