He has his agent say everything publicly in order to protect his image. I can't stand that passive aggressive bs. He did it in Philly, and he's doing it here. MTK 12-30-2010, 08:38 AM DM has been playing both sides so I really wouldn't take much stock in anything he says right now. He might say "I" won't ask for a release, but that doesn't mean his agent won't. mredskins 12-30-2010, 08:55 AM DM says whatever makes him look best at the moment. I agree it is getting old and now looking back at the TO thing maybe DM was not such the innocent little victim that he played in that fight. irish 12-30-2010, 09:44 AM I agree it is getting old and now looking back at the TO thing maybe DM was not such the innocent little victim that he played in that fight. TO almost won that SB for the Eagles on a broken ankle but unfortunately DM couldnt keep up when the game was on the line and they need to move fast. TO is often his own worst enemy but in that case I always though he got a bum rap. IMO the end of that SB shows a lot of what the Shanny's were saying about DM is true. When he has to move the O at a fast pace and think fast on his feet he really struggles. SolidSnake84 12-30-2010, 10:50 AM McNabb's future i guess i really cloudy. He is obviously not staying here, but next year is really interesting. He could be the starter for one season on a team that has a young draft pick QB in waiting, similar to what they tried to do (and failed) with Jake Delhomme. He is obviously not a franchise QB this late in the game, and the chances of him starting for more than 1 season is remote. But he could have a nice second career as a backup/mentor, like Mark Brunell did after leaving here... We should make him take the Secretary..........ehhr Haynesworth test? |
