Webb is a good athelete but is still very green as a QB, he still needs a lot of work.

Personally I like it the way it is, win your division and earn a home game.

I agree. I think the NFC West is a horrendous division this year, but if you win it, then you ought to get a home game.

Thinking out loud, if the NFL were to go to an 18 game schedule, it would be interesting if the last two weeks were converted to division playoffs, with week 16 determining seeding, so that in week 17, #1 plays #4, and #2 plays #3, and in week 18, #1 plays #2, and #3 plays #4. I don't suppose that would be doable, but could add even more spice to the last few weeks of the regular season.

How far do we go back to find a season where no team in a division post's a winning record? The winner of the NFC west should hardly consider themselves a winner.
